About Us

Overview
We want our youth to thrive. That’s why our coalition works with community partners, such as law enforcement, public schools and the University of North Dakota, to promote health and wellness in order to prevent youth from using alcohol, vapes or drugs.

We believe the work of our coalition and its partners is responsible, in part, for the substance use rate among Grand Forks youth being below state average.
High-risk alcohol use is common in our community and our coalition members continue to concentrate on changing this social norm for the benefit of our youth.
Changes For Good
In order to reduce youth access to alcohol, coalition members were instrumental in our community’s adoption of a Responsible Beverage Server Training ordinance and a Social Host ordinance.
